Windows 10 Possibly Releasing In July

It might be here sooner than expected.

AMD’s president and CEO Lisa Su may have occidentally given away the official release window for Microsoft’s upcoming Windows 10. Originally, Microsoft have said that the new iteration of the popular OS would be releasing during some time this Summer.

Speaking during an earnings call, Lisa Su said, “What we also are factoring in is, with the Windows 10 launch at the end of July, we’re watching the impact of that on the back-to-school season and expect that it might have a bit of a delay to the normal back-to-school season inventory build-up”

This is definitely not an official confirmation of the inbound OS, but with all things considered it’s exceptionally unlikely that someone in Su’s position would be ill-informed. AMD are well versed on the inner workings of current developments in the tech space despite their current position, so anything that slipped out is probably accurate information.

Are you going to be upgrading to Windows 10 when it drops?
