Witcher 3

CD Projekt RED is hard at work on New Game+, the final free DLC for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt but in case you’re worried about the performance issues plaguing the game on consoles following patch 1.07, you can rest easy. The new patch 1.08 which serves to correct a multitude of performance issues along with fixing other bugs will actually release before the new DLC.

This is according to CD Projekt RED community manager Marcin Momot on Twitter. This of course leads many to think that it won’t be a while until New Game+ is actually out. Considering that the first expansion for The Witcher 3 called Hearts of Stone will be out in October, it’s at least somewhat reasonable to expect both patch 1.08 and New Game+ to be out before August ends.

What are your thoughts on the upcoming free DLC, patch 1.08 and the first expansion for the game? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
