Need for Speed

Electronic Arts began its Gamescom press conference with a trailer for Ghost Games’ upcoming Need for Speed by focusing on the cast of characters in the game and the various Icons you’ll work towards. It was also announced that it would be releasing this December.

Need for Speed is seen as somewhat of a reboot for the series, combining elements of Need for Speed Underground with the open world of Carbon and the action of Rivals. It seems that the game will feature numerous choices to make which will influence the overall story.

Impressing the various characters with your skills will go towards progressing the different Icons. It should be noted that you can either build cars, run from cops or just show off.

There’s plenty of gameplay to take a look at which is great. Need for Speed is out on November 3rd for Xbox One, PS4 and PC. What are your thoughts on the game’s characters and the Icons? Let us know in the comments.
