Destiny House of Wolves

In it’s latest Weekly Update, Bungie has announced that the upcoming update 2.0 for Destiny, which adds some much awaited and controversial weapon balance changes, will go live on September 8th. It also revealed the install size for the digital version of The Taken King – it will be 10 GB on Xbox 360, 20 GB on PS3, 18 GB on Xbox One and 18 GB on PS4.

That’s not all – major changes are in store for the Nightfall. When The Taken King drops, the Nightfall will no longer boot your fireteam to orbit if you wipe and there will also be elemental resist modifiers for armour. The Nightfall bonus is also going away with XP and Reputation gains increased accordingly to account for the absence. The Weekly Heroic is also being removed and replaced by a Vanguard Heroic Strike playlist which offers Legendary Marks for the first three Strikes completed per account and a guaranteed Legendary engram per character with each first Strike completed.

There are a lot more changes in-bound including new PvP activities promise Nightfall-like awards. Hit up the Weekly Update to learn more before The Taken King launches on September 15th.
