Now that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 beta is officially over, it appears the developers are spending more time making sure that the game is going to be one that is ready to launch, instead of adding a bunch of new things that might get gamers even more excited for the title. There have been a number of different tidbits released about what people can expect about the game but even those tidbits tend to be about the engine itself and the way the graphics are going to look.

Plenty of Twitter users have been asking David Vonderhaar what else they can find out about the game, but at this point in the development cycle, he’s not talking. Last week, the developer started talking less about what else was going into Black Ops and more about the work ahead in order to get the game in working order. After a number of questions Vonderhaar answered, “It’s that part of the project where build stability, optimization, and reducing bug count is more important than doing cool s—.”

At the same time, Vonderhaar also indicated that didn’t mean he wouldn’t take suggestions about what’s already in the game. He and his developers are working hard to get the title to a level that Black Ops 3 players expect and not all of the work is about polishing. There are still changes to the items that are in the game apparently, considering that he also said, “It’s never too late to [re]design the right thing.” Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is launching for the PS4, Xbox One and PC on November 6, 2015.
