Despite featuring remastered versions of classic PS3 titles, Naughty Dog’s Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection isn’t going to be a slouch when it comes to overall file size. According to PlayStation Universe, the installation size is 44.46 GB on PS4, which actually exceeds the size of Grand Theft Auto 5. Hilariously enough, Gears of War: Ultimate Edition on Xbox One weighs in at 44.42 GB.
The difference here of course is that Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection comes with three games – Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. There are a bunch of new features as well, including Photo mode, different difficulty options and access to the upcoming Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End which begins on December 4th and ends on December 13th.
Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection releases on October 8th for PS4 but a free demo will be available on September 29th. Thoughts on the overall file size of the finished collection? Let us know in the comments.
