Divinity: Original Sin 2’s Development Team Now has Chris Avellone

Chris Avellone, one of the most influential personalities in the gaming industry, who is behind such role playing game masterpieces such as Planescape Torment and Fallout 2 (and who also founded Obsidian), will be joining the development team for the upcoming Divnity: Original Sin 2, where he will be writing at least one of the origin stories playable in the game.

That’s already big news, and reason enough to be excited for the sequel to last year’s breakout RPG hit, but there is m0re- Larian, the studio behind Divinity, also announced today that Divinity: Original Sin 2 will feature mod support. This was one of the most requested features for the sequel, and it is so good to see a developer that is responsive to its fanbase’s demands.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 will be releasing on PC. The original game will be made available on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 later this year, giving console players a chance to try this highly regarded game for themselves.
