Quantum Break

Ever since Quantum Break was officially announced, there has been quite a bit of talk about just how good the game looked. Part of the reason the game has taken on a photo-realistic look at times is thanks in large part to developer Remedy using quite a bit of the newest technology. The game is due out in April of next year and it appears development is speeding straight ahead.

Remedy’s head of PR, Thomas Puha is certainly among the people who is blown away by the way the game is looking. He took to Twitter, which is the digital equivalent of shouting from the rooftops about how much he likes the way the game is shaping up. “The cinematics in #QuantumBreak are looking f— stunning. Work is ongoing every day and the lighting especially is amazing.” His curse filled excitement didn’t stop there as he made sure that everyone knew he really like the way the game has looked when it comes to the lighting. “We are putting on the finishing lighting touches. holy s— does that make a difference. Rest of the game looks gorgeous too, no worries :D” He continued.

Lighting really does play a part when it comes to making games look very realistic. The lighting is actually one of those aspects people tend to ignore until it isn’t done right. If the head of Remedy’s PR can be believed, it appears the lighting for this game is being done exactly right. Quantum Break is due out exclusively for the Xbox One on April 5, 2016.
