Destiny The Taken King

Another week for Destiny brings the third and final challenge mode to King’s Fall, the raid in The Taken King. The past several weeks have seen an interesting level of challenges with the Warpriest and Golgoroth and this week, it’s Oryx himself.

So what’s the challenge? Your fireteam will need to detonate 16 orbs of Corrupted Light at once. This means that you’ll have to kill Light-Eater Ogres each round for four rounds, kill the Knights that try to reclaim the orbs, stun Oryx and essentially take a trip to the Darkness Dimension four times. Once you’ve stacked up 16 orbs, you detonate them all at once to kill Oryx. It should be noted that players can use one Runner for the aura and can die without any repercussions.

Rewards for the challenge mode include 320 Light items on Hard Mode and 310 Light items on Normal Mode so this is your best chance to acquire the helm. What are your thoughts on the challenge this week? Let us know in the comments.
