One of the biggest requests fans and players have from Star Wars: Battlefront is to play, well, most of the game’s modes offline, locally- that would certainly give the game, which has no actual single player campaign, and very few locally playable modes, a whole lot more value than it has right now. DICE have already confirmed that it is working on making this happen– but they did note that there are some technical hurdles along the way.

According to WCCFTech, DICE definitely is exploring ways to make this happen- though the developers also note that there are technical hurdles that may make this harder than it seems. They confirmed that they are aware of the demand for something like this, however, and that they will try their very best to get this done.

If something like this were confirmed, I’d be more inclined to play the game than I am right now.
