Doom 1

Now that Doom is just a couple of months from hitting store shelves, we’re getting all kinds of information. For one thing, we now know that the game’s campaign is about 13 hours long when all is said and done. We also know the kind of modes that will be included in the game. One of the things we don’t know is what the cover art is going to look like when the game finally does launch.

In reality, Bethesda and id Software don’t yet know for sure what the cover art is going to be for the game yet. In fact the companies are actually asking their fans to pick out the cover by offering two choices to choose from. The first cover, which is pictured with this article has a kind of Diablo look to it. There’s a kind of pentagram symbol as well as a goat skull with glowing red eyes.

The second cover image, shown at the bottom of this article is one that harkens back to the original cover of the original Doom, though there are enough differences that the two are definitely distinguishable. The Doom Twitter account is the one actually soliciting feedback and you can tell them which one of the pictures you prefer the most. Doom is set to release for the PS4, PC, and Xbox One on Mary 13, 2016. Check out the other cover you can vote for below and then check out the original cover to see how close it is to the new design.
