The answer? Just about the right distance.

Tom Clancy's The Division (8)

Say what you will about Tom Clancy’s The Division and how “big” the actual city of Manhattan is but it actually takes a fair amount of time to traverse from one end of the map to the other. YouTuber TheyCallMeConor actually tested how long it takes – you can check out the results below (helpfully compressed to a few minutes via time-lapse).

Overall, it takes 35 minutes and compared to other open world titles (with a list provided at the video’s end), The Division is slightly higher than H1Z1, Skyrim (1st person), Rust and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate. That’s not bad when you also factor in the number of activities and missions available.

Tom Clancy’s The Division has been out since yesterday for Xbox One, PC and PS4. What are your thoughts on the game thus far? Have you hit the max level cap? Let us know in the comments below and stay tuned for more information on the game, including our official review, in the coming days.
