Crash Bandicoot

Sony took the stage at E3 today to announce that, as fans wanted, Crash Bandicoot will be returning to PS4! … except not in a new game, and not in the way you would have wanted, because it will only be a remaster of the original trilogy. Which is… fine, but I mean, come on, you know that’s not what we meant when we said we wanted a new Crash.

To add insult to injury, they confirmed that Crash would be a playable character in the upcoming Skylanders game, and that he would be available on PS4 first. Which is… great, but again, an appalling anti climax.

I don’t know, do you remember the Final Fantasy 7 port segment from the debut PlayStation Experience keynote? How everyone went from hype to not caring in just a minute or less? That’s basically what this was. It was pretty sad having our expectations dashed like that.
