Overwatch

All this teasing behind Overwatch‘s next hero isn’t just white noise – the biotic sniper rifle is only the beginning as a panel on Comic Con on July 21st will apparently reveal exactly who it is.

This is evidenced by the panel being called “Behind the Scenes of Overwatch’s Newest Hero” and the description noting that, “Blizzard developers James Waugh (director of story & creative development), Michael Chu (senior designer, Overwatch), and Arnold Tsang (assistant art director, Overwatch) present a behind-the-scenes look into the creative process of developing the art, design, and story for Overwatch’s newest hero.”

Signs are pointing to this being Sombra, a medic/sniper hero that is rumoured to be Ana Amari, Pharah’s mother. Blizzard has acknowledged that Sombra exists and that players haven’t found all the clues. Will Sombra be revealed on July 21st though? We’ll find out in the coming weeks so stay tuned for more information and let us know what you think.
