A major upcoming game this Holiday season will be supporting Sony’s upcoming PlayStation 4 Pro console- Respawn’s Vince Zampella has confirmed on Twitter that the eagerly anticipated sequel to the 2014 Xbox and PC exclusive hit shooter will be supporting Sony’s updated PlayStation 4.
Of course, since this was a tweet, we didn’t get more information than that, which is a shame, because I personally would have loved to know- what will Titanfall 2 be doing on PS4 Pro? Will it be a resolution bump, richer details, higher end graphics? I imagine the improvements will all be mostly on the resolution end, since as a primarily multiplayer game, Titanfall 2 can’t have a framerate boost on the PS4 Pro- that would give an unfair advantage to Pro players in multiplayer matches, and Sony’s policies forbid that.
Titanfall 2 will be launching on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on October 28. The PlayStation 4 Pro will launch on November 10, for a price of $399.
