The Coalition’s Gears of War 4 will be the next major Xbox One and Windows 10 release from Microsoft so it only makes sense that pre-loading details would be coming soon.

Community director Adam Fletcher stated on Twitter that more information would be coming soon and that players will “plenty of time to pre-load.” Even though the game is available on October 11th, those who purchas the $100 Ultimate Edition will receive early access on October 7th.

Fletcher also advised fans to not be dissuaded by the 80 GB free space that the PC version requires. “While large…the PC size shouldn’t be the indicator for Xbox.”

Gears of War 4 takes place several years after the third game (just pretend Judgment never happened) and will see JD Fenix, Marcus’s son, as the main character. There’s a new enemy with the Swarm this time around and it will be up to the Fenix family to save the ones they care about.
