The decision to delay Final Fantasy 15 by Square Enix was in order to further polish the game and cram more features in. After details of the 8 GB patch first got out – such as the inclusion of an event from Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy 15 and “Omen trailer – the full patch notes are now available.

New features include new actions in battle such as the ability to “Shift Drop Kick” when daggers are being used and “Backward Shift” which amounts to short distance elemental magic activation. More information on the Wait Mode exclusive abilities has also been revealed such as Libra Speed Increase (obtain more info quickly with Libra), Wait Gauge Recovery (the Wait Gauge recovers after an enemy is defeated) and more.

A Music Player has also been added in-game to allow you to play your own songs while there’s now a gallery to view certain images (like the fish that Noctis catches). You can also now shop from the comfort of the Regalia (where opening the menu while auto-driving no longer halts driving).

There’s the usual bug fixes, camera adjustments in narrow areas, improved menu usage, changes to improve the main campaign (including to towns and the open world) and much more. Check out the full patch notes here. Final Fantasy 15 will be out on November 29th for Xbox One and PS4.
