Middle-Earth Shadow of War Listing Spotted, Out on August 22nd – Rumour

Finally a hint of the Shadow of Mordor sequel.

Posted By | On 27th, Feb. 2017

Following up on last year’s rumour of Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor 2, Target had a listing for Middle-Earth: Shadow of War appear over the weekend.

Though the listing has since been removed, Wario64 on Twitter managed to screen-cap it. The information included a release date on Xbox One and PS4 for August 22nd with Monolith returning as developer.

The Nemesis system will also be making a comeback as players “confront the full power of the Dark Lord Sauron and his ringwraiths” and “forge a new Ring of Power and dominate Mordor,” that too with their own armies of Orcs.

Middle-Earth: Shadow of War will apparently have a Gold Edition for $99 which includes two Nemesis expansions – Slaughter Tribe and Outlaw Tribe – which add new Orc tribes full of new missions, followers, weapons, Fortresses, a Mythic Gear set and more. It will also have two story expansions called the Blade of Galadriel and The Desolation of Mordor. These will have more playable characters, new enemies, side missions and so on.

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment hasn’t made an official announcement yet but what are your thoughts on Middle-Earth: Shadow of War? Let us know in the comments.
