Along with finally revealing Destiny 2, albeit in a cinematic trailer, Bungie has announced that it will be showcasing gameplay for the first time on May 18th.

The reveal will happen via livestream so stay tuned for more details on timings in the coming weeks. Bungie also noted that the upcoming beta will be open for all and available this Summer. Pre-ordering your copy of Destiny 2 will allow you to jump into the action faster.

Destiny 2 sees the Last City and Tower in ruins thanks to an attack from Gaul and the Red Legion, a unit of the Cabal Empire. Players will rally together with the Vanguard to save the Last City, exploring new worlds in the solar system and gaining new powers in the process. Of course, there is also the promise of dank loot.

Destiny 2 will be out on September 8th. All platforms are yet to be confirmed but expect it on PC, Xbox One and PS4.
