Detroit: Become Human Releasing in 2018

Quantic Dream’s Detroit: Become Human appeared at Sony’s E3 2017 presser, showcasing another new character and the consequences of its branching narrative. However, we still didn’t receive any information on when exactly David Cage’s interactive adventure game could be releasing. Until now.

As per the director himself while speaking to GameSpot at E3 2017, Detroit: Become Human will be launching in 2018. His exact words with regards to a launch date were “it’s going to be next year.” And while an exact date wasn’t revealed, at least we know it’ll be 2018.

Detroit: Become Human was actually spotted in a PlayStation video earlier this year and touted as a 2017 release. Sony’s Shuhei Yoshida quickly clarified that this was a mistake, as if it wasn’t apparent enough that the game was a ways off, what with the lack of updates.
