Rockstar Games’ L.A. Noire was a surprising but altogether welcome announcement from the developer who revealed that a remaster would be releasing not just for Xbox One and PS4 but Nintendo Switch as well. Thanks to Famitsu, it was revealed that the game would launch on December 7th for the Switch in Japan.

Along with touchscreen control when moving the unit from the dock, the Nintendo Switch version will also support gyro controls when in Joy-Con mode. Resolution in docked mode is 1080p resolution while in handheld mode it changes to 720p resolution. And as promised, all five DLC packs which include additional cases like The Naked City, A Slip of the Tongue, Nicholson Electroplating, Reefer Madness and The Consul’s Car will ship with the base game.

L.A. Noire on the PS4 and Xbox One will support 1080p resolution and feature improved textures at HD and better lighting. The PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions has been confirmed to support 4K resolution as well and players will even have an unlockable criminal suit to use new collection items and special abilities. You can expect L.A. Noire to ship for Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch on November 14th around the rest of the world.
