Horizon: Zero Dawn Game of the Year Edition Outed By Retailer

A bundle of the game with its expansion may be incoming.

Sony will be bringing its hit open world action RPG from earlier this year, Horizon: Zero Dawn, in a bundled package with its upcoming expansion later this year, if a retailer listing is to be believed. Wario64 on Twitter has spotted a Play-Asia listing for Horizon: Zero Dawn Game of the Year Edition for later this year (in December), indicating that the new SKU might be inbound.

The Game of the Year Edition will be $50 in price, and will presumably include the base game, all of its updates so far, and the upcoming Frozen Wilds expansion. The consolidated bundle should give those who have so far not had a chance to check Guerrilla’s game a chance to jump into the full experience at a cheaper price- although I do find the premature ‘Game of the Year’ edition amusing (even if the game is guaranteed to win some awards, come year end).

Horizon: Zero Dawn is out now exclusively on the PS4.
