BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle

A bunch of new information and  screenshots have been released for BlazBlue Cross Tag today by Arc System Works in a press release. This includes screenshots of different characters as well as images of different modes we can expect to see in the game.

We get to see the first DLC characters who will be available for free for the first two weeks after the game’s release. These characters include Orie from Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[st], Kanji Tatsumi from Persona 4 Arena, Platinum The Trinity from Blazblue: CentralFiction. There are also a lot of different modes to try out in the game such as the “Episode Mode” which is basically a story mode and will explore the collision of the four worlds from the four games in what is known as the “phantom field.”

In the “Tactics Mode”, players will learn how to use the game’s mechanics strategically and efficiently. There’s also a “Training Mode” that will help players practice their skills with different characters. The “Survival Mode” pits you against waves of enemies and you have to try and defeat them and stay alive for as long as required. There are also features such as a “Gallery Mode” and “Replay Theater” which will allow you to check out images and view recorded matches.

You can check out all of the new screenshots below. BlazBlue Cross Tag is set to release in Japan on May 31 and will release in North America on June 5 for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC.
