PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

Bluehole has steadily been releasing new patches for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds in order to fix various issues. Now, in a new patch, they will be making some changes to weapons so as to make them more balanced, along with providing more options when it comes to weapon attachments, and some changes to the level three helmet. These changes will first be tested out on the game’s test servers before they become available on the live servers.

The developers have noted that players mostly use only a few types of weapons in the game and they want to address this issue so that each weapon has its own unique strengths. This will allow players to pick the kind of weapons they like instead of just “which gun is strongest.” Additionally, more weapon attachment options will be made available to players so that they can choose the appropriate one for a given situation.

Finally, there will be changes made to the level three helmet so that it functions as a sort of extra life where a headshot would have otherwise killed the player. Regarding who will be able to get the helmet, the developer stated “We don’t want luck alone to determine who gets items like this, so we’re removing it from the normal loot spawn tables and limiting it to care packages only. ”

You can read more about the new patch on the official forums. Detailed patch notes will be shared once the patch is ready to be rolled out to the live servers.
