Steam Summer Sale Begins on June 21st – Report

Steam Database leaks the start date for this year's sale.

It’s been far too long since PC players’ wallets have been terrorized by another Steam Sale, something which Valve will be fixing soon. According to Steam Database on Twitter, the next sale, namely the Steam Summer Sale, will start on June 21st. You’d think Valve would find a way to prevent such dates from being leaked but it hasn’t worked against them yet.

Last year’s Summer Sale began on June 22nd and ended on July 5th. If this year’s sale lasts for the same period, then it will end on July 4th. This is just conjecture though so don’t take it as the official end date for the sale.

The Steam Sale is a wondrous period where numerous games, from big triple A releases to small indie titles, see discounts. While more recent games likely won’t be discounted, it’s still a good time to fill up that backlog that you’ll never complete.
