Say what you want about David Cage’s writing, but Quantic Dream sure knows how to deliver memorable visuals and cinematic moments in games like Detroit: Become Human. The long-awaited PS4 exclusive debuted to good reviews in May, and has done rather well since then. Cage himself revealed pretty recently that it was the studio’s biggest launch to date.

The game’s official account on Twitter seems to have some new numbers on the player count. It revealed that over 1.5 million people have now played Detroit: Become Human worldwide, logging over 20 million hours of playtime. This doesn’t necessarily reflect the number of copies sold, but at least those who are playing seem fairly engaged. With some rough math, that equals over 13 hours per person.

Cage also revealed that Quantic Dream is working on several other projects simultaneously. While this is good news, it remains to be seen how far off they’ll be from release. After all, Detroit: Become Human first started out as Kara, a tech demo showcased in 2012 before becoming a full game.
