Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Pokeball Pokemon and Item Inclusions Confirmed

Everyone really is here, in some form or the other.

In the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct that Nintendo broadcast this morning, they had a lot of information to share. From new characters to new assist trophies, to the confirmation of how many stages there will be in the game (over 100!)- but they also took the time to reveal the items and Pokeball Pokemon that will be making it into this instalment.

New items in this game include the Death Scythe from Castlevania, as well as the Ramblin’ Evil Mushroom from Earthbound; new Pokemon that can be summoned via Pokeballs include Alolan Exeggutor and fan favorite Mimikyu, who, I have to admit, I am bummed is not a fully playable character in the game, as I was rooting for her to be the rep from the newest batch of Pokemon for Smash this time around.

But you can hardly complain when Ultimate seems to have so much stuff jam packed into it. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate launches for Nintendo Switch exclusively on December 7.
