BioWare devs have, as always, been active on social media, answering questions by fans about their upcoming shared world shooter Anthem. First up is Ben Irving, lead producer on the game. Following a recent round of livestreams, many people have been wondering about when we might get to see more live gameplay footage of the game. According to Irving, there’s “hopefully” going to be another livestream next week.
Irving, meanwhile, also talked about weapons in the game. When asked about whether there will be more futuristic weapons in Anthem, since the innate abilities of the exosuits seem to be so much cooler in comparison, Irving said that that is something BioWare might add in the future, before suggesting that weapons in the game that have higher rarity might scratch that itch until such time.
Justin Masse, technical UX designer on Anthem, also took to Twitter to share a photo of his Colossus exosuit, which is all decked out with personalized colours and cosmetic personalizations, to give you an example of what Javelin personalization in the game will offer. Take a look below.
EA recently gave out extensive details on the abilities and ultimates of each exosuit, while the Storm Javelin seems to have been nerfed due to having been too overpowered. Anthem launches on February 22, 2019 for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Hopefully next week
