BioWare has its work cut out for it with Anthem, a shared world shooter set in a brand new universe with power armour to fly around in. Dubbed “Javelins”, we’ve heard a lot about these suits and seen a bit of what they’re capable of. In a new trailer courtesy of IGN, we get to see each Javelin’s abilities and Ultimates laid bare.

Perhaps the newest gameplay is that centered on the Interceptor. This speedy Javelin can utilize dual-blades during its Ultimate to move around and cut up enemies. It’s fairly similar to Destiny’s Bladedancer or Spectral Blades. Of course, the Interceptor is also capable of spinning through the air and attacking with its blades as well.

Other notable features include the different projectiles each Javelin uses (many being explosive). Some gunplay, from assault rifles and SMGs to powerful heavy machine guns and flamethrowers, is also showcased. With Anthem currently being in the alpha stage, there’s still plenty left for BioWare to sort out. Hopefully it will be prepared for the game’s launch on February 22nd, 2019.
