Call of Duty Black Ops 4

Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 already received a hefty update yesterday, but another one has also become available. It kickstarts the Quad Feed event, providing double XP in Multiplayer and Zombies, double the Merits and Tier Boosts, and double Nebulium Plasma. Benefits will end on November 26th, 10 AM PT.

Along with the Quad Feed, the update also brings changes to spawns for round-based respawn modes. Players also finally have the option to toggle Auto Mantle on Xbox One and PS4 (with the change coming to PC “soon”). For spawns, the development team found an issue in Control and Domination that would “improperly assess” enemy proximity when finding respawn locations.

While the update won’t resolve all issues, it should reduce the number of bad spawns in both modes (especially from round two onwards). As for Auto Mantle, it allows for mantling surfaces without hitting the Jump button again. The development team is also working on an Auto Sprint option for console players. Check out this update’s patch notes below:

Event

  • Quad Feed (now live through 10AM PT Monday, Nov. 26)
  • 2XP in Multiplayer and Zombies
  • 2X Tier Boost in Multiplayer and Blackout
  • 2X Merits in Blackout
  • 2X Nebulium Plasma in Zombies

Gameplay

  • Added an option in the Controls menu to toggle Auto Mantle on or off (now live on PS4 and Xbox, coming soon on PC). Applies to Multiplayer and Blackout.
  • Resolved an issue where enabling Sprint Cancels Reload would disable Auto Mantle (now live on PS4 and Xbox, coming soon on PC).

Black Market

Clarified the description for Signature Weapons to inform players that the Reactive Camo & Masterwork are now available as soon as a Signature Weapon is unlocked.

  • Fixed an issue where the Cheers! Gesture could not be equipped on Firebreak and Seraph.
  • Fixed an issue where some Stickers were missing their set name.

Multiplayer

Resolved a spawn issue in Domination and Control (both Core and Hardcore).
