Black Bean Games have announced that they’ve picked up Virtual Air Guitar Company’s upcoming Kinect fighting game, Kung-Fu High Impact for publication.

he title will be available worldwide in November 2011 and will be published by Black Bean Games across the PAL territories and by UTV Ignition Gamesin the US, following the recent deal between the two companies.

“This is the first time Black Bean Games has had a simultaneous worldwide release, and the fact that it’s for a fresh, innovative, and terribly cool game for Kinect makes the release that much more exciting,” said Luisa Bixio, Managing Director of Leader Spa, the company holding the Black Bean Games publishing label. “One of the most amusing titles we’ve played with, Kung-Fu High Impact pushes Kinect for Xbox 360 over the limit. Today it would be difficult to replicate this game on any other platform; we asked Virtual Air Guitar Company to tailor this fantastic concept on Kinect, aiming to achieve something unique. We believe we’ve got it.”

“I’m extremely excited to announce Kung-Fu High Impact and the co-operation between our companies. Whether you are looking to immediately smash enemies through the air, brawl against your friends and family, or simply get a six-pack in the works while having fun, Kung-Fu High Impact will be ready to put you into the action,” said Teemu Mäki-Patola, CEO at Virtual Air Guitar Company.

“Kung-Fu High Impact is a revolutionary product unlike anything seen before on Kinect. It’s an original comic-book style action game which delivers great fun, action and humour. Above all, the product features an extremely accurate body tracking technology to see the real image of the player on screen. Just imagine the sensational flavour of the classic and most successful beat’em up from the 80s, then add a solid story mode, full 3D graphics, a glamorous comic style all around, spectacular battles and characters as well as a top end integration of Kinect to make Kung-Fu High Impact the ultimate interactive fighting game on Xbox 360.”

“With a wide range of game modes to discover, an epic Kung-Fu story, compelling survival challenges and an original multiplayer mode, Kung-Fu High Impact delivers pure fun as well as a challenging gaming experience to test your fighting skills and burn calories in a different way. Thanks to the accessibility given by Kinect, every hardcore gamer, comic fan and casual gamers alike will enjoy the artistic design, gameplay, characters and spectacular power moves in Kung-Fu High Impact.”

Only time will tell if the full game delivers on these promises.
