Destiny 2 Xur Inventory: Merciless, Aeon Safe, Knucklehead Radar

Some decent gear and an excellent Exotic heavy weapon make up Xur's inventory this week.

Destiny 2 Xur

Xur has returned to The Tower in Bungie’s Destiny 2. No, he doesn’t have any Forsaken Exotics, so please stop asking. You can find him in the Hangar, where he will remain until the weekly reset. Unfortunately, not everything Xur has is great for your average and/or new player.

Knucklehead Radar (Hunter helm) and Apotheosis Veil (Warlock helm) are good general purpose helmets for their classes. The former provides a constant radar even while aiming down sights, while the latter immediately regenerates all your abilities and health upon using a Super. Aeon Safe (Titan gloves) provides energy to different class abilities upon using a Barricade. It’s awful, plain and simple.

All of the above gear can be yours for 23 Legendary Shards each. Fortunately, Xur’s visit isn’t a complete bust, as he’s selling Merciless. This Exotic Fusion Rifle gains decreased charge time on non-lethal hits, thus making it an effective boss DPS tool. It’s yours for 29 Legendary Shards.
