Fallout 76

Though Fallout 76 is far from the game many had hoped and expected it would be, Bethesda has been promising (and making) changes to it since launch to bring it up to an acceptable level of quality. Other than many requested bug fixes and balancing changes, Bethesda has also slowly been introducing new features for players across all three platforms. More are on the way as well, and in a new year post recently posted on the company’s official website, some of these were briefly talked about.

The most notable of these has to be player vending, which will allow players to set up their own shops and role play as vendors (the only vendors in the game right now are robots, given the game’s absolute lack of human NPCs). Other changes are also mentioned, such as new weekly live events, new quests, new Vaults opening, a new PvP mode, and “much more”.

The next update in the pipeline will also be a big one, as per Bethesda, and will fix many of the issues that have been brought up by players. “Like our December 11 update, we will have a big update that will address many of the issues you’ve been providing feedback on,” the publisher writes. “Full patch notes will follow soon.

“We’re also building an incredible list of future updates that we can’t wait to share, including new quests, weekly in-game events, new Vaults opening, a new PvP mode, Player Vending and much more.

“2019 is an exciting year for Fallout 76 and we can’t wait to grow it with you.”

Many of the aforementioned additions have been promised by Bethesda for a while now, with an update on the new PvP mode coming as recently a couple of weeks ago- read more about that through here.

Fallout 76 is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
