Battlefield 5 - Lightning Strikes

DICE has released the first trailer for Chapter 2 of Battlefield 5’s Tides of War. Lightning Strikes will begin this week for all players and brings a range of new content to the experience. New Company gear, weapons, vehicles, and the return of Rush, along with Squad Conquest, are all highlights for the update.

Squad Conquest will be available from January 17th to 30th, and sees two squads of eight players facing another two squads with eight players. You’ll have to control three flags in smaller version of Arras, Rotterdam, and Hamada. If you’re interested in the weekly challenges and how to level your Chapter Rank, then head here.

Sadly, it seems that co-op players will need to wait slightly longer for Combined Arms. It will actually be available in February, and DICE hasn’t provided an exact date. Hopefully it will be adequately polished when it goes live. A small tease of Firestorm, Battlefield 5’s Battle Royale mode that’s coming in March, was also showcased in the trailer. Check it out below.
