The Standard Edition now costs $19.99, while the Legendary Edition retails for $39.99.

Blizzard Entertainment has always hosted limited time sales for its games on the Blizzard Shop. So you could be forgiven for thinking one is going on for Overwatch on PC. It’s not a limited sale though- it turns out that the prices for the Standard and Legendary Editions have been permanently dropped.

Instead of $39.99, the Standard Edition will now cost $19.99 on PC going forward. The Legendary Edition has dropped from $59.99 to $39.99, and includes five Epic skins and five Legendary skins for heroes like Ana, Hanzo, Moira, and Mercy. You also get the Origins skins for heroes like Pharah, Tracer, and Solider 76, along with goodies for use in other games, like Mercy’s wings for Diablo 3.

The price drop comes at a good time – Overwatch’s Year of the Pig event is currently on-going. That means the return of Capture the Flag and Competitive CTF Season 2. Busan has also been transformed to celebrate the Lunar New Year festivities, while new cosmetics for Reaper, Zenyatta, and more have been added.
