Dead or Alive 6

Koei-Tecmo have made quite a few interesting announcements about its upcoming fighter Dead or Alive 6. First was the announcement that Mai Shiranui from King of Fighters would be joining the roster as a DLC character. Another KOF fighter will also be coming down the line, but before the game even releases, fans can try out the deluxe demo on February 22nd.

Coming to Xbox One and PS4, the deluxe demo will feature almost all the content in the full game. That includes 24 playable fighters, online Ranked multiplayer and Lobbies, Free Training and Command Training, combo challenges, and an “introduction” to the Story mode. Koei-Tecmo confirmed in a separate tweet that the first few missions of Story mode would be available to try out here.

While it isn’t the full game and will only be available until February 25th, that’s still a lot of content to test beforehand. PC players sadly won’t be getting into the mix, but at least console users can report on what’s working and what isn’t in the lead-up to launch. Dead or Alive 6 releases on March 1st for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
