The Division 2 – First Raid Details Possibly Leaked Thanks To Datamining

If true, this could be a harrowing endgame treat for fans.

The Division 2 has a strong suit of endgame activities to keep players busy well after they’re done with the campaign, but the post-campaign activities that players are perhaps most excited about are raids. Though Ubisoft haven’t officially announced what the first raid is going to be or when it’s going to go live, thanks to datamining efforts by a user on Reddit, some details on The Division 2’s first raid may have come to light.

As per information found in the game’s files, the raid will supposedly consist of nearly a dozen objectives in total. It’ll take place on Arlington Island, and kick off at Arlington Memorial Bridge, with the first objective seemingly tasking players with surviving an assault from enemy forces on said bridge. Other objectives include surviving more attacks, protecting a named agent on your team, and the one that is bound to excite fans the most- “split teams and flank the target”. Given that raids in The Division 2 are going to be for groups of eight players, that one in particular spells exciting things, if true.

The raid will also take players to Ronald Reagon Airport, where another objective involves stopping an enemy convoy from leaving a runway. Yet another objective tasks players with seeking high ground vantage points from where they can take out groups of bombardiers. Interestingly enough, there also seem to be files within assets for the raid for a mission called Nighthawk, which presumably can be activated within the raid itself.

There also seem to be four Trophies specific to the raid, with three of these being Gold, and the other one being Silver. One in particular, which sounds more interesting than the others, tasks players with making it through “the bridge” in one hour or less. Does that refer to the aforementioned bridge in particular, or the entirety of the raid? Either way, if a speedrunning-centric trophy gives players one hour, we can probably expect the raid to be a long one, which is bound to excite scores of fans.

You can get full details for the objectives and the Trophies below (or through the Reddit link above). The Division 2 is out now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Meanwhile, in related news, The Division 2 topped UK physical sales charts in its debut week, but only managed to sell a fifth of what the first game did when it first launched.
