Tales of Arise 2

Over the last two days, it feels like the entirety of E3 leaked in a way we haven’t seen even in the leakiest of years. One of those leaks was the newest game in the Japanese RPG series, Tales. Screenshots came out claiming to be from a new game called Tales of Arise. Well, now it’s official, the game is real, and it’s coming next year.

It was officially unveiled at the Microsoft E3 conference. We didn’t get a whole lot, but enough to give us an idea of how the game will play as well as the visuals, which look familiar, but also seems to be a major step up from the last game in the series, which came out in 2016. The game’s story centers around a conflict between two planets, with two protagonists from each of them coming together on an unexpected journey. We’ll learn more as the game approaches next year.

Tales of Arise launches for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC some time in 2020. You can check out the announcement trailer below.
