Re-Logic’s highly successful sandbox platformer Terraria is out now for Nintendo Switch. With 27 million units and numerous updates released, Switch players can finally experience the adventure for themselves. Terraria retails for $29.99 on the Nintendo eShop – check out the launch trailer below.

Much like Minecraft, Terraria offers the freedom to build and explore. There over 300 enemies to fight, loot to collect, over 20 bosses and events, endgame encounters and more than 20 biomes and mini-biomes to conquer. When you’re done mastering the base game, head into Expert Mode for even more challenges and rewards.

Terraria has over 3500 items and with the upcoming Journey’s End update, there will be even more added. The update doesn’t currently have a release date but it’s planned for this year. Stay tuned for more details and check out the Switch version in the meantime. Terraria is also available for Xbox One, PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, PC and a number of other platforms.
