Nintendo’s Super Mario Maker 2 has been a big hit since launching last month. It was the best selling game in the United States for June 2019 according to The NPD Group. Media Create Charts tell a similar story, as the Switch exclusive continues to dominate in sales.
However, one common complaint among players is that course creators have been limited in the number of courses they could upload. Thankfully, Nintendo has listened to requests and raised the maximum number from 32 to 64. This was revealed an in-game notice, with the developer also stating that, “We plan to raise the course-upload limit one more time. Please continue to enjoy Super Mario Maker 2!” Stay tuned for an update when that happens.
Given that two million levels have already been uploaded, Nintendo seems to be aware of a strong demand for more space. It’s early days yet for Super Mario Maker 2, so we’ll see just how much higher it can soar compared to its predecessor. Check out GamingBolt’s review for the title in the meantime to see if it’s worth playing.
