Code Vein is within a few weeks of release now, and we’ve seen a good deal from the anime infused-action RPG. From the weapons, to the environments, to the freaky bosses, it’s fair to say we’ve seen a lot from the game. But now we get to hear some from it instead as a new developer diary video talks about the game’s music.
Highlighting the game’s composer, Go Shiina, this video is all about the tunes behind the action. Shiina has worked with Bandai Namco extensively in the past, composing scores for God Eater games (of which Code Vein shares a team with) as well as some of the Tales game. He talks about creating a score that ranged for sobering and dark to light and comfortable, as well as suiting certain scores to certain characters. It’s an interesting look at how the music for games is usually produced.
Code Vein releases on September 27th. For some features you’re going to want to know about the game before you pick it up, check through here. A demo is available now as well for console versions.
