Koei Tecmo’s latest strategy simulation Romance of the Three Kingdoms 14 will be available in the West on February 28th, 2020. Those who purchase the title early will receive the “Battle of Yiling” scenario, which can be downloaded for free two weeks after the game’s launch. There’s no word yet on whether the demo currently available for PC players in Japan will release for the West.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms 14 will return to the ruler-based systems from previous titles, which means all actions will occur on the same map. Otherwise, you’ll be appointing area overseers to different areas for promoting development and increasing income, expanding cities and stationing troops at gates like Hulao Gate and Yangping Gate. Officers will also use more unique tactics in battles.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms 14 is currently in development for PS4 and PC. It releases in Japan on January 16th, 2020. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months, especially since this is one of the few PS4 console exclusives till the next generation.
