If you pre-ordered Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 for PC via the Rockstar Games Launcher or Epic Games Store, the game is now available to play. It unlocked worldwide as of 5 AM PT/8 AM ET. Unfortunately, Steam users will have to wait until December to get their hands on the open world epic.
Taking place before the first game, Red Dead Redemption 2 focuses on Arthur Morgan, right-hand man of Dutch van der Linde. The Wild West is being tamed, which means the Van der Linde gang is in dire straits. How Arthur manages all this while ensuring the survival of his friends forms the crux of the story.
The PC version of the game features numerous graphical improvements and options like 8K resolution support, unlocked framerates and more. It also comes with new content and a Photo Mode. All of the updates that Red Dead Online has received till now will also likely be available so there’s quite a lot to play through.
