Wasteland 3 isn’t the only title that’s faced a delay. Mojang has announced that Minecraft Dungeons, its isometric dungeon crawling spin-off, has been delayed to May 26th. While it didn’t provide a specific reason, the development studio did note earlier that it working from home due to the COVID-19 pandemic could affect the launch in April.
Whether the extra time will result in more polish or provide some relief to the development team remains to be seen. Minecraft Dungeons channels the action RPG approach taken by games like Diablo and allows four players to team up. They’ll battle familiar enemies from the base game along with new foes in randomly generated dungeons.
Along with several unique items and gear, players can also have access to enchantments for even more power. Due to the lack of classes, one has the freedom to go ranged or melee as they please. Minecraft Dungeons is coming to Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
