Guilty Gear 2020

We’re close to the upcoming beta for the newest game in the long running fighting franchise, Guilty Gear Strive. The franchise is known for its aggressive, unapologetic anime aesthetic as well as its incredibly quick paced gameplay. Like most others in the genre, there’s a lot to learn and take in, and today it seems Arc Systems Work is giving you a little bit of a primer.

Released via the official YouTube, there are two starter guide videos for two of the mainstay characters. First up is Sol Badguy, who is probably the most iconic character in the franchise, with the second being his longtime rival Ky Kiske. Both videos are pretty basic, going on the most base moves, but it will give you something to mull over before you get a chance to play the full game. It seems this will be a series covering potentially the whole roster, so more will likely come later.

Guilty Gear Strive will release sometime in 2020 exclusively for PlayStation 4. The Closed Beta will run from April 16th to the 19th for those who managed to get in.
