It feels like the last few weeks of news surrounding DOOM Eternal has been somewhat bittersweet. It seems there was a split between id Software and legendary Composer Mick Gordon, meaning he will not be doing the music for the upcoming DLC. But it’s not all negative, not at all, as the recent accolades trailer shows with all the praise the game has garnered.

The trailer, which you can see below, has a variety of the much positive reception the game saw from a lot of different outlets. People were definitely ready to jump back into the world of DOOM and kill some demons. We didn’t make the cut for the video, but you can check out our full review of the game through here.

DOOM Eternal is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. A Switch version is also slated to come at some point this year, and DLC for all versions is also planned.
