Sony hasn’t taken to revealing too much about the PlayStation 5. Rumors have pegged a reveal event as happening in June though an exact date is still unknown. The company has also said in its recent corporate strategy meeting that it planned to introduce a “compelling lineup of titles” soon.

What titles will be revealed still remains to be seen but a hint seems to have come from an unlikely source. Maximillian Dood, a streamer and long-standing member of the fighting game community, spoke on Twitch about how the console’s launch line-up would be “pretty f***ing big”. He noted that “they” (meaning Sony) have been working on games “for a long time” and that he’s been hearing from industry friends “for years” about how big the line-up will be.

Rumors have been swelling recently about Sony’s planned reveals, one being a reboot of Silent Hill developed in collaboration with Konami. Though we haven’t heard much about it, Bluepoint Games’ upcoming remake could also be showcased. Guerrilla Games has also been in headlines lately with rumors about Horizon: Zero Dawn 2 having co-op. As always, stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
