With the PS5 showcase set for this Thursday, Counterplay Games’ Godfall is expected to appear. The looter slasher will be launching as a PS5 console exclusive (and for PC on the Epic Games Store). To further hype it up, a new teaser has been released, showcasing Silvermane.
Silvermane seems to be one of the three classes that players can choose. Each class has their own Valorplate which can use different Augments. Other Valorplates will be available, though it remains to be seen how they affect class customization, abilities and overall build diversity.
Godfall won’t necessarily be available at launch for the PlayStation 5 – it’s instead marked as a late 2020 release. The story takes place in fantasy world with elements like Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Spirit having their own realms. A world-ending event seems to be on the horizon so it’s up to the Knight’s Order – or the remains at least – to deal with it. Stay tuned for additional teasers in the coming days.
