It was an exciting moment for many when Horizon Zero Dawn released on the PC. It was a rare instance of Sony letting one of their big first party IPs release on the platform. The PC version seemed to be quite the success as well, but it wasn’t without problems. The release was plagued by a variety of technical issues, ones that developer Guerilla Games has been working to fix. Now, there’s more coming.

The latest update, 1.6, has some new fixes for PC players. There’s a HDR tweak to help with some UI issues, as well as Adaptive FPS getting fixed where it had an issue with its tune. Alongside those also come various fixes for crashing, graphics and gameplay improvement. You can see the full list through here or below. Guerilla has also compiled a list of known issues from various Reddit users they will hope to address in the future.

Horizon Zero Dawn is available now for PlayStation 4 and PC. Update 1.6 is live for the PC version.

  • Fixed an issue where turning on the Adaptive FPS option gave lower performance results than setting similar results manually
