Demon's Souls

Bluepoint Games’ stunning remake of Demon’s Souls is out today along with the PS5 in the United States. For all of its dazzling visuals and modern improvements, however, it’s possible to enjoy the title with a filter that’s close to the original. Check out GameSpot’s video below to see what we mean.

Along with changing the filter, it’s possible to revert to the classic camera for that full nostalgia experience. Other options include a monochromatic filter akin to Ghost of Tsushima’s Kurosawa mode. Among other changes is the updated character creator which can provide up to 16 million different permutations for customization.

Demon’s Souls is exclusive to the PS5 at launch and retails for $70. Check out the launch trailer here. You can also check out the most recent State of Play here which showcases several minutes of gameplay. For more details on additional changes like Photo Mode, Fractured Mode and more, check here.
